OBITUARY: LEE R. WELLING
Lee R. Welling 79. of Cameron W.V.a,R.D.1,[Sugar Grove, Greene County],died at 12;10 p.m. Thursday, Nov.4,1971. at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Harold Morris, of Cameron. He was born Oct .21,1892, in Marshall Co,W.Va,a son of the late James and Nancy Fish Welling.Mr Welling was preceded in death by his wife, the late Cora Yoders Welling ,who died in 1961 .He was a member of the Quiet Dell Brethren Church, a veteran of World War, and a retired farmer. Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Harold [Mae] Morris ,of Cameron R.D.1; Mrs James [Cheerful ] pettit, of Cameron R. D.4; and Mrs. David [Mary ] Van Norman, of Ranger, six sons; Homer, of Warsaw, Ind; Wayne, of Englewood , CoI; James, of Austin, Tex ;Lester , of Cameron,R.D.1 Floyd of Goshen, Ind. ; and Wilbert, of Warsaw, Ind.,and 31 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Four brothers preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Sunday with Burial in Big Run Cemetery.

Bernard B, Williamson, 81, of Bens Run,died Nov, 23, 1996, at the Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, He was born May 1, 1915 at Bens Run, a son of the late Clifford Martin and Laura Ellen Beagle Williamson, He was a member of the Mr. Nebo Chuurch of Christ where he served as an elder, and had been a mechanic for Clovis Motors for many years, He retired from the former Union Carbide, Sistersville, WV after 20 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and was a active bowler with the inter-city league. at Emerson Lanes, Parkersburg, bowling for OSI Specialties. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ollie Welling Williamson, one daughter, Donna Rice of Parkersburg; two sons, Bill Williamson of St. Marys, Keith Williamson of Paden City; one sister, Jaunita Herron of Tiffan, Ohio; one brother, Chester Williamson of Sistersville; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marcellet Schaub and Violet Everley. Services were held on Nov 26 at 2 p.m. at the Ruttencutter Funeral Home, St. Marys. Interment in the Long Reach Cemetery. Long Reach, Tyler County, W V. with military rites conducted by American Legion Pleasants Post 79 and VFW Post 222, Visitation was held from 2-4 and 7-9 on Nov. 25 at the funeral home.
