Bernard P. Wood. 74, of Jacksonburg. W.Va., died Monday, August 14, 1978 in Wetzel County Hospital. Born April 28, 1904 in Wezel County. he was the son of Wesley R. and Louise Anderson Wood, He was a member of the Church of God and the Seventh Day Adventists. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife. Ona Yoho Wood; three sons. Verl of Vienna, Va., Drexel of Bebee, W.Va., and David of Wileyville; three daughters, Cornelia Henderson of Littleton, Billie May White of Ravenna, Ohio, and Ruhama Cannon of North Huntington, pa.; two -half sisters. Bessie Logston of proctor and Bessie Guthrie of Urichsville, Ohio; 28 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Iams Funeral Home on Tuesday were services will be held Thursday [today] at 1 p.m. with the Rev. James Shepherd officiatiang. Interment in Joliffe Cemetery. Any contributions can be made to the Heart Fund.
