OBITUARY:
Daniel Webster Moore passed away Monday, February 14, at the home ofhis
brother John W. Moore, with whom he had made his home for some time,following a
year's illness of tuberculosis,
The deceased was born in Monroe county, Ohio, September 16, 1860,and was 60
years, 4 months and 28 days of age. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and a
member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 12, of Bellaire, Ohio, and washighly
respected by his many friends and acquaintance,
Funeral servces were held from the home of his brother John W, Moore in Center
district, Wednesday February 16, Mr, S. M, West officiating, andinterment was at the
Moore cemetery in charge of Funeral Director Harry Palmer, of Pine Grove
Surviving are three brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.

Daniel was born 17, sept, 1854, died 14, Feb 1921 according to his grave
marker. Now you see why I had such a hard time figuring out this family. My
Dad was born in 1914 and he was sitting up with Dan the night he died.

Welling, Virgil M.,, 73, of Elk Fork Road, Middlebourne, died Firiday, Oct. 18, 1996. in Sistersville General Hospital, Sistersville, He was a retired employee of Tyler County Board of Education, and a member of Elk Fork Church of Christ He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Metz Welling, in 1985. his parents, Brice Edward and Agatha Welling. Surviving are five daughters. Judy Ferrell. Mrs. Wayne (Violet) Mercer. Mrs Frank (Bill) Ruby Watson Mrs. David (Rosemary) Forrester and Tina Welling, all of Middlebourne; a brother, Coen of Canton two sisters Virginia Welling of Sistersville and Rosa Rice of New Martinsville; eight grandchildrcn; five great-grandchildren. Friends received 7-9 p.m. today and 4-9 p.m. Sunday at Furbee Funeral Home. Middlebourne, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday Interment in Middlebourne Cemetery.
