[Note16]
I have a picture of Florence. She was married to David William McCoy b.Apr 22,1888 in Wetzel
County, W V. David was George Thomas's (my grandfather) first cousin. I have
the names of 6 children for them given to me by an old lady I talked to on
my McCoy research. Florence probably was an outsider. I guess the Thomas
family was not well thought of by the Moore's after my grandmother's
divorce. My Aunt Gladys told of a memory she had of my great grandmother and
great grandfather making the trip out there in a buggy to see the kids and
my grandmother refused. She told of how my greatgrandmother cried.( Jack Thomas)
Florence kept to herself and was kind of the "outsider" in the family.
She did not keep in close contact with her family so no one knows too
much about her.
