Encouraging Words on your Spiritual Journey

Jesus says, "If your father in heaven clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows, he will care for you if your faith is not little." But what if your faith is little? I found these beautiful and encouraging passages. The first is from a very early Christian document "The Lord's Teaching Through the Twelve Apostles to the Nations", called the Didache. The second is from the Bhagavad Gita, the Hindu song of God.

From "The Lord's Teaching Through the Twelve Apostles to the Nations":

Take heed, lest one lead you astray
from the path of this teaching, for he
teaches apart from God. For, if you are
able to take up the whole yoke of the
Lord, you will be complete, but if you
are not able, do that which you are able.

And the Bhagavad Gita chapter 12:

But if thy thought
Droops from such height; if thou be'st weak to set
Body and soul upon Me constantly,
Despair not! give Me lower service! I seek
To reach Me, worshipping with steadfast will;
And, if thou canst not worship steadfastly,
Work for Me, toil in works pleasing to Me!
For he that laboureth right for love of Me
Shall finally attain! But, if in this
Thy faint heart fails, bring Me thy failure! find
Refuge in Me!
