MODIFY PAD, FINISHED FLOOR, AND REAR LOT ELEVATIONS, AND RAISE PAD POLYLINE TO CORRECT ELEVATION BY PICKING BASED ON PICKED TOP OF CURB ELEVATION TEXT
Download GRADLBL.LSP
Download GRADLBLTEST.DWG for a quick
test
GRADLBL.LSP is a Free Software tool to label civil engineering grading plans. It gets top of curb elevation from a picked text, and calculates pad, finished floor, and rear lot elevations based on it. Then it prompts user to pick texts for pad, finished, floor, and rear lot elevations and to pick a pad polyline to raise to true elevation. It saves defaults to the Windows registry.
Very simple. No grand schemes. No headaches. No typos. No calculator required. Everything you need to get started is included.
Download GRADLBL.LSP (save it to your computer) by following the link on this page.
At minimum, all GRADLBL.LSP needs to work is four pieces of text and a polyline. One of the texts must have a number in it. Try the following exercise (You can download GRADLBLTEST.DWG instead of doing steps 1 & 2):
First, make four text objects and a pline object in a drawing. Now you have text to label and a pad to raise.
Second, enter a top of curb elevation into one of the text objects.
Third, load and run GRADLBL.LSP by dragging it from Windows Explorer into your drawing and typing GRADLBL or GG.
Fifth, follow the prompts.
That's all there is to it.
GRADLBL.LSP writes options to the Current user's AutoCAD section of the Windows registry. GRADLBL.LSP has no uninstaller; uninstalling AutoCAD will remove the registry entries GRADLBL.LSP makes.
